Avenger War Axe:  Designed as a fantasy axe, this is nonetheless a fully functional war axe. Morning Star Flail:  The Morning Star Flail was a terrifying weapon, delivering explosive damage when wielded by a charging knight.  But we must add a word to the wise...this weapon could also bounce back and deliver a serious wound to the wielder.  If you have ever practiced with nun-chucks, and accidentally struck your groin, you will know how heavy objects at the ends of chains are not always predictable to the untrained user.  Identical to the Studded Mace except incorporates a 6 inch chain.  NOT A TOY.  Weighs approx 1 lb. 12 oz.,  Length 26",   #XH2142   In Stock! 	Francesca - Antique Finish:   The Francisca, so named for its Frankish origins, was used by the Vikings both as a throwing weapon and for close-quarters combat. Its graceful lines are legendary but the upswept point and downturned edge were both capable of penetrating chain mail. Our Francisca features a forged head with a fire-gray or antiqued finish and a swelled-end hardwood shaft for secure head retention. 	Mammen Axe:   The Mammen Axe, one of the best-known and best-decorated examples of the small Viking throwing axe, is a perfect example of the Viking’s blend of art and war. Excavated from a famous 10th century barrow near Mammen Denmark, the original is decorated with silver inlaid engraving in a typical Celtic manner.
