Clearance & Close-out Specials
We are offering a variety of items from Deepeeka Steelcrafts on a
special clearance. Many of these items have been used as displays in our armoury,
were purchased as possible additions to our product line, or are stock that was remaining
from earlier years when we operated as a catalog retailer. The photos below are
Deepeeka's promotional photos and do not necessarily reflect the item's current
condition. Any items that are not new in original packaging are listed with their
current condition. All items are sold as is and we are offering them on a one-time
clearance price basis. Please email us if you have any questions about any of these
items. Deepeeka swords and armour have been featured in numerous History Channel and
Discovery Channel specials as well as several period and fantasy movies. They make a
variety of lesser-known historic type swords and are a great source for hard to find
weapon styles. Their swords are good for reenacting and theatrical use, but are not
made for the rigors of daily fight wear. If you are looking for a good daily
practice sword, we recommend the Hanwei Practical Swords. All Deepeeka swords are
sold semi-sharp (about as sharp as a typical letter opener) which means that the blade is
bevelled but not edged. They are forged carbon steel (except as noted) and will take
an excellent edge if you choose to give them one. Deepeeka makes authentic period
sheaths which are usually a wood base covered with leather with brass or steel throat and
end caps. Several swords have highly decorated sheaths if their historic
counterparts were typically made this way.
We only have one or two of any style. If you
like a sword, get it now before it is gone.

Medieval Shackles: These
iron shackles were used for several centuries, from Medieval times until the 20th century.
They had extensive use in the Old West and are most popular among Civil War and Old
West reenactors. I guess that's because very few people reenact the Inquisition.
These are real working handcuffs with locking mechanism and squared key.
Solid iron with antique patina. Item #54-080 In stock! MEASUREMENTS: Closeout (1 set remaining) WEIGHT: 1lb 3oz

Greek Sword: A beautiful
and authentic replica of an iron age Greek sword. Rather than using steel, which
didn't exist at the time of this sword, Deepeeka furnished this sword with an iron pommel,
guard and handle. The contoured grip is made of genuine bone. This an iron age
sword and so the blade and handle materials are kept to period materials. Note: This
sword comes with a sheath, not pictured. Item #AH4214 Condition: NEW Beautiful reproduction of a hard to find sword! Closeout - 1 Remaining BLADE LENGTH: 23 1/2

Heavy Leather Brigandine:
The brigandine was developed by Dark Age warriors to enhance the protection of chain mail.
Since chain mail could be cut by well-made swords, an outer protective vest was
developed with metal plates rivetted between two layers of leather. This kind of construction made it easy enough for a soldier to
make and repair his own armor without needing the high skill of an armorer. Unlike
other versions we have seen, which weigh only a few pounds and have little protective
value, this version is a sturdy 9 1/2 lbs. and does not restrict movement. Usually
worn over a gambeson and mail shirt, it was not long befor this form of protection was in
wide use with fighters from knight to archer. Adjustable straps buckle over the shoulders
and along one side to allow a custom fit from 40-44" chest over gambeson and
chainmail. The plate on the other side can be shaped to fit the contour of your
torso. Item #AH6076L Condition: NEW - Black suede with green suede trim and tan leather interior. Closeout - 1 In Stock Note: Tan suede interior is not mottled/spotted, as shown in photo.
